Legends of the Centenary: Roberto Gil
Roberto Gil Estévez (1959-1970) is a Valencian, Valencianista and former Valencia CF player, who turned out for the club for some eleven seasons. Over the course of his career he would win two Fairs Cups and the 1967 Copa del Rey, captaining his side for the latter honour.
He joined the VCF Academy in 1954/55, going on to play for VCF Mestalla and then being promoted to the first team in 1959/60.
